About The Venue

Welcome fellow equestrians!  Join us for a day of fun exploring how obstacle work keeps your horse’s mind fresh and his body conditioned with movements and maneuvers not found in ordinary arena work.  Navigating your way through obstacles can actually improve your feel as you learn to sense where your horse’s various body parts are at any given moment.  That "feel" is what makes a truly accomplished rider. 

Our venue is an Artist's very scenic and beautiful private estate with gently sloping terrain, wide expansive fields, and miles of well groomed, wooded, barefoot friendly trails.  There are no amenities such as camping or stalls for this event. 

HELMETS ARE REQUIRED FOR THE TRAIL CHALLENGE EVENT.

COGGINS REQUIRED AT CHECK IN.

PLEASE NOTE: A Current certificate of veterinary inspection (CVI) (no more than 30 days old) & Coggins are REQUIRED FOR PARTICIPANTS BRINGING HORSES FROM ILLINOIS.  

Proceeds from the event are donated to the Conservancy to support its endeavors. The Caledonia Conservancy is a 501C local organization is committed to preserving land for future use.

Event Details

Please note agenda 8/6/2021 updates.  There will now be separate meetings and awards for each event,  

The morning is dedicated to the IH obstacle course held in open areas without pens or fences, followed by a 5 mile trail challenge.  Lunch is on your own as time permits based on your completion and the start of each event.  

The Terrain

Barefoot horses welcome.  Shoes are not required or necessary.  Gentle rolling hills and inclines.

Meals

Lunch available for $10.00 - Please sign up for meals when you register, or no later than September 14, so we can be prepared with enough food.  After September 14 please text (414-628-6318) or email (lynn4travel@aol.com) Lynn to add a lunch up to noon on September 17.

Awards

Beautiful ribbons 1st-6th place Novice, Intermediate, and Advanced! 1st-3rd place Junior (age 13-17), 1st-3rd place Youngin' (age 7-12), and 1st place Newcomer!  Prizes for awards and shout-outs!

Additional Fees

Payment for ALL Amenities reserved at the time of online registration are due ON SITE and are NOT collected at the time of online registration.  *Bring CASH to pay for additional fees!*.

There is a $10.00 farm fee (cash only) collected at registration.
