Northwest regional finals 2017



TOURNAMENT DETAILS:  Your best 10 scores in the Northwest Region will be used to calculate your tournament scores based on the weighted average obstacle score (WOA) from each challenge. The top 15 riders from each bracket will qualify for the finals event.

FINALS SCHEDULE: 

1) Saturday, Oct 14, 2017 - Trail Challenge
2) Sunday, Oct 15, 2017 - Trail Challenge

TOURNAMENT FEE:  $3 per event.

TOURNAMENT PRIZES:

Grand Champion Advanced - ETS Custom Saddle, Saddle Bags, Bridle, and Breast Collar
Grand Champion Intermedidate - ETS Custom Saddle and Saddle Bags
Grand Champion Novice - ETS Custom Saddle 

RULES:

  • Scores are based on horse & rider team.
  • Your best 10 obstacle average scores from all events will be used to calculate your tournament score. 
  • The top 15 riders in each bracket will qualify for the finals. Any rider who cannot make it to the finals will provide an open slot for the next rider on the list.
  • Riders will ride in the same bracket during the finals that they qualified for.
  • Regional Championship will be determined by the total score of both days of the finals tournament. 
  • Average Obstacle Score is defined as your total score divided by the number of obstacles at the event.  This allows for the events to have a different number of obstacles without affecting your total score.
  • Ties will be broken by total pluses, rider score, rider pluses.


HOW DO I KNOW WHICH BRACKET I WILL END UP IN?

Add up your bracket placements to determine your Challenge Level Total:
Novice = 1  Intermediate = 2  Advanced = 3
