Truly a community event, the Lone Pine Trail Challenge is a fun way to support multiple charitable causes right here in central Oregon. This Sunday ride covers some pristine rolling juniper hills dotted with wildflowers and tremendous views. Our obstacles are safe and appropriate for all levels of horse & rider. Trails are sand and rock mix with some rocky sections. The host rides the area barefoot regularly. If horses' feet are not well conditioned, riders may opt for boots or shoes. Riders have the option of buying a hand in a Poker Ride during this ride for $10.

This Trail Challenge is part of the Still Memorial Weekend - honoring the local legends, Cole & Charlotte Still, and benefitting the all breed equine rescue, Mustangs To The Rescue. Still Memorial Weekend includes three Endurance Rides, two trail challenge rides, an In-Hand Trail Competition for horses of any age, a Poker Ride, a recreational ride, a BBQ Dinner & Buckaroo Breakfast, and several horse-related demos.  Information on this fun-filled weekend can be seen at www.mustangstotherescue.org . MTTR is a 100% volunteer operated all breed rescue that focuses on giving animals the skills they need to attract new homes. Proceeds from this event are used to care for the animals awaiting adoption at Mustangs To The Rescue.

Plan your first weekend in May to include all the fun at Still Memorial Weekend!
