About The Venue

Welcome to Lincoln County Sheriff's Posse 3rd  Semi-Annual Trail Obstacle Event!!

We are holding our second event at the Riverside Equine Park located in beautiful Spokane, Washington on the Spokane River and only a few miles from Airway Heights.  

Within the park, you will find a great place to play and rest. The equine area was designed for the equine enthusiast with a 200x300 working arena, 50' a round pen, ground obstacles built by Back Country Horseman of Washington.

 There are campsites available, bathrooms, https://washington.goingtocamp.com is the website that you need to go to reserve your campsite if you are wanting to camp.  There will be a place to park horse trailers as well across from the campgrounds with no power or water.

UPDATE 5/7/21- The campground is full- we have dry camping in the overflow field on the south side of the road right across from the campground!!  $27 per night.  

Day parking will be in the overflow field on the South side of the road as well!  

You will need to have a Washington Discover Pass, you can obtain this online or Day Passes are available on-site.  Annual Passes are $30 and Day Passes are $10- here is the Website information https://parks.state.wa.us/167/Discover-Pass-fees

There are also 25 miles of trails that wrap around the Spokane River, an outdoor arena and a round pen in the upper Equine area if you would like to utilize those as well.

Event Details

This is a Trail Challenge obstacle course event for Saturday and Sunday where we will have obstacles along the trail to keep even the advanced rider on their toes and the intermediate and novice riders comfortable. 

We will also be utilizing the Obstacle Course on Friday for an In Hand Obstacle Challenge event.

Obstacles can be yet not limited to a natural terrain obstacle with difficulties thrown in and or a man-made obstacle that has a little fun. 

We will be updating with a "Theme" as soon as we come up with one!!

The Terrain

The terrain is natural not limited to Rocks, Dirt, Grass, Sand, Mud, Gravel and Water.

Please, you know your equine and your choice is best. Barefoot, Booted or Shod.

Meals

We will have a quick simple breakfast (muffins, coffee) for Saturday and Sunday.

We will have a Potluck Dinner on Saturday!!

Lunches- you are on your own.  

Awards

Beautiful ribbons 1st-6th place Novice, Intermediate, and Advanced! 1st-3rd place Junior (age 13-17), 1st-3rd place Youngin' (age 7-12), and 1st place Newcomer!  We will be giving "Judge Shout'Out Awards" as well!!

Payment for ALL Amenities reserved at the time of online registration are due ON SITE and are NOT collected at the time of online registration.
