About The Venue

Phantom Ranch Bible Camp is nestled on the shores of a spring-fed lake in beautiful southeastern Wisconsin. Offering year-round camping retreat experience, it's a fitting escape from everyday life. No matter the season, opportunities for spiritual growth and personal renewal can be found on our spacious facilities of 111 acres.

Event Details

Sunday morning will be an In Hand Obstacle Challenge followed by a Mounted Obstacle Challenge in the afternoon.

The Terrain

Terrain will be mainly grass, sand, and minimal gravel/rocky areas. Most horses are comfortable barefoot.

Meals

For this event, we will not provide any food or drink for sale. Please come prepared.

Awards

Cast iron ribbon racks for 1st place along with beautiful ribbons 1st-6th place Novice, Intermediate, and Advanced! 1st-3rd place Junior (age 13-17), 1st-3rd place Youngin' (age 7-12), and 1st place Newcomer!

Additional Fees

There is a ranch fee of $5 per event (included in ETS event registration payment) for each competitor for the day.

From Chicago

  • Take I-94 West (Traveling north into Wisconsin) to Highway 20 (Exit 333).
  • Turn left at the stoplight and travel west on Highway 20 to the junction with Highway 83. (You will travel through the town of Waterford). Hwy 20 and Hwy 83 are the same through Waterford.
  • After the town of Waterford, Highway 83 curves to the right. Continue north to Mukwonago on Hwy 83 (about 8 miles).
  • Cross over Interstate 43.  Within a half mile, turn LEFT at Bayview Road (This is the stoplight next to Citgo) and continue to Highway ES (The first stop light you will come across).
  • Turn LEFT at Highway ES (Also known as Main Street) and continue to Highway J (Located next to the Elegant Farmer).
  • Turn RIGHT at Highway J and continue to Highway I.
  • Turn RIGHT at Highway I and continue for approximately 0.5 miles.
  • Camp entrance is located on the RIGHT.

From West and Northwest Chicago Suburbs

  • From the Wisconsin border, take US 12 West (Traveling northwest) to I-43.
  • Take I-43 North (Traveling southwest towards Milwaukee) to Highway 83.
  • Turn RIGHT onto I-43 and travel north to Highway 20 (Near the town of Easy Troy).
  • Turn LEFT at the stop sign, continuing for approximately one block to Highway ES.
  • Turn RIGHT at Highway ES and continue to Highway J.
  • Turn LEFT at Highway J (Located next to the Elegant Farmer) and continue to Highway I.
  • Turn RIGHT at Highway I and continue for approximately 0.5 miles.
  • Camp entrance is located on the RIGHT.

From Milwaukee

  • Take I-43 South (Traveling southwest towards Beloit) to Highway 83.
  • Exit 43 at Hwy 83
  • Turn RIGHT at the exit ramp stoplight and continue approximately 1 block to Bayview Road (This is the stoplight next to Citgo).
  • Turn LEFT at Bayview Road and continue to Highway ES (The first stop light you will come across).
  • Turn LEFT at Highway ES (Also known as Main Street) and continue to Highway J (Located next to the Elegant Farmer).
  • Turn RIGHT at Highway J and continue to Highway I.
  • Turn RIGHT at Highway I and continue for approximately 0.5 miles.
  • Camp entrance is located on the RIGHT.

From Madison

  • Take I-94 East (Traveling east towards Milwaukee) to Highway 83.
  • Turn RIGHT and continue to Highway I - Approximately 9 miles south of I-94.
  • Turn RIGHT and continue for approximately 6 miles to Phantom Ranch.
  • Camp entrance is located on the LEFT.
