Glenhaven Farm is owned by Cary and Barbara Gaynor. It is in S.Salem about one hour south of Portland. It is located on 67 acres of rolling forest and pastureland with some beautiful views across the Willamette Valley. We are 20 minutes from I-5 and directions are easy. If the weather becomes a problem, we have a 60x200 indoor arena.
We are providing a ' Welcome' continental breakfast at sign in. All entrants are put into a drawing for several "door" prizes. Parking will be on our hay field. There are limited stalls available and 6 guest paddocks (three with shelters). Be sure to reserve ahead.
You will need to bring portable corrals or plan to hi-line or tie to your trailer. Please be courteous and do not allow your horses to dig up our field. Corrals must be moved daily to avoid wear on our field. Water is available at the barn and paddocks.
Saturday morning will start with an in-hand obstacle course to be followed after a 45-minute break by a ridden obstacle challenge. Both will be held on the field behind the barn.
Sunday will be a three-mile obstacle trail challenge with 8 obstacles
The terrain is mostly gentle to rolling hills. The trails are dirt but there are occasional rocks. Horses with tender feet may want to wear shoes or boots.
Saturday morning will be pastries and beverage hosted by Glenhaven Farms. Lunches are on you. There will be a Saturday Night Pot Luck so please bring a dish to share. We will be grilling burgers.
Sunday morning pastries and beverage will be available for $4.
Beautiful ribbons 1st-6th place Novice, Intermediate, and Advanced! 1st-3rd place Junior (age 13-17), 1st-3rd place Youngin' (age 7-12), and 1st place Newcomer!
There will be a prize to each division winner as well as Weekend Hi Points for Novice, Intermediate, Advanced
After the final events of this series, there will be Hi-Point Silver Buckles awarded in each division.
Payment for ALL Amenities reserved at the time of online registration are due ON SITE and are NOT collected at the time of online registration.
We will have a professional Equine photographer on the grounds taking both candid and custom photos. Photos will be available to purchase at her table by the office.

From I-5, take exit # 252 Kuebler Blvd. Go west 3 1/2 miles to Skyline. Turn left. Go 1+ mile to the stop sign. Take a right on Vitae Springs. Go about 2 1/2 miles to Riverdale. Turn right. 6079 is about 1/4 mile on your left.
From Independence, go across the bridge toward Salem. You will be on River Rd.N. Turn right on Halls Ferry (do NOT turn on Orville Rd no matter what your gps says). Right on Riverdale. 6079 is after the white plastic fence on your right.
