About The Venue

Trails Etc has a small outdoor arena with an obstacle playground, electric & water hook-ups, outdoor stalls, and plenty of room for primitive camping. There are rooms available nearby. 

Trails Etc as featured on Best of America by Horseback is a family owned and operated trail business with all the trails on privately owned land. No matter how long you want to ride, there are miles & miles of trails offering wide manicured trails in dense woodland, wide open spaces, and plenty of water crossings – all sandy enough for barefoot horses.

For the event: Please call Trails Etc 334-740-1336 to reserve and make a deposit to hold your night stay and stalls. Spaces are limited, a 50% deposit is required & is not refundable on event weekends.  All reservations are made through Trails Etc. Dogs by permission only (not on event weekends)

If what you want to book is already reserved, We will put you on the waiting list and go over what else might be available.  A deposit for a primitive camp spot will put you on the waiting list for a hookup.  

Event Details

Friday Evening with be our Costume Parade and Contest at 5:30. We will also have a prize for the best trailer decorations. There will be 3 winners! Contest includes Best: Individual, Horse and Horse/Rider Team.  For the parade and contest, you can be riding your horse or in hand (on-line with halter & lead rope)   Dinner is on your own.  Bring your own or take out if you would like to eat together at the Pole Barn.

Saturday will be: 

Obstacle Course (OC) – a mounted event in an arena/field. A saddle (treeless included) and headstall with reins are required. All riding disciplines are welcome.

Lunch

Trail Challenge (TC) – a relaxing trail ride with judged obstacles along the trail and possibly in camp. All riding disciplines are welcome.

Sunday will be:

Obstacle Course (OC) – a mounted event in an arena/field. A saddle (treeless included) and headstall with reins are required. All riding disciplines are welcome.

Obstacle Trail (OT) – a relaxing short trail ride with judged obstacles along the trail and possibly in camp. All riding disciplines are welcome.

Awards after lunch.

No dogs on Event Weekends. We have very strict rules for safety of humans, horses and your dogs. If you have NO other option...Please call to see if permission might be granted for your particular circumstance.

The Terrain

You will enjoy seeing varied terrain, fields, creeks, wide trails, dense wooded trails, and all sandy enough for barefoot horses.

Meals

Saturday lunch and dinner + Sunday lunch will be available for purchase. Lunches are $10 and Dinner is $20. ($40 for all 3) Please let us know as soon as you know your meal plans.
