This is a lovely outdoor facility, lots of trails, open fields, trees, we are a breeding/training and teaching facility. We specialize in building confidence in people and horses, teaching skills on the ground and progressing into the saddle. We have an outdoor arena, Round pen and obstacle area on a hill side.
Saturday morning:
In Hand (IH) – a dismounted event in an arena/field, halter and lead rope preferred. All equines welcome – any size, breed, and age.
Afternoon
Obstacle Trail (OT) – a relaxing short trail ride (approximately 3 miles) with judged obstacles along the trail and possibly in camp. All riding disciplines are welcome.
Saturday evening
CAMPFIRE POTLUCK
Sunday morning
Obstacle Course (OC) – a mounted event in an arena/field. A saddle (treeless included) and headstall with reins are required. All riding disciplines are welcome.
Trail Challenge (TC) – a relaxing trail ride (approximately 5 miles) with judged obstacles along the trail and possibly in camp. All riding disciplines are welcome.
Monday
Recreational Ride - relaxing trail ride (approximately 5 miles) along the trail and possibly in camp. All riding disciplines are welcome.
Our facility includes an outdoor arena with dirt/sand mix, open fields (grass) and trails through treed area, there is no rocky ground. We have outdoor pens only, there is a round pen and hilly obstacle playground near the outdoor arena.
None available please come prepared
Beautiful ribbons - 1st-3rd place Novice, Intermediate, and Advanced! 1st-3rd place Junior (age 13-17), 1st-3rd place Youngin' (age 7-12), and 1st place Newcomer.
Lifetime Awards (Equine & Rider) - Sign up 2 weeks in advance to get your qualifying awards!
Equine Awards - Your equine will earn a beautiful kilt pin adding copper, bronze, silver, and golden carrot charms as they progress through the levels. Equine points accumulate no matter who rides the equine.
Rider Awards - You will earn a beautiful kilt pin adding copper, bronze, silver, and golden star charms as you progress through the levels. Rider Points accumulate no matter which equine is ridden.
Payments are in Canadian dollars for ALL Amenities and are to be reserved at the time of online registration and are due ON SITE and are NOT collected at the time of online registration.
Registering online will give you the best (early bird) pricing! There is a $10 USD increase per entry for onsite registration.
We have dry camping available at no charge.
Another campsite just a 2 miles away is 'Aurora Fish Ponds' www.aurorafishponds.ca
Open Creek dam also has camping which is about 7 miles away. www.rimbeyfishandgame.com
For your rider placement pins you will need to be registered or 'save my spot' 1 month in advance for your awards to be handed out at the ceremonies. These pins and awards are given out at each event and need time for shipping, please register ahead of time (1 month in advance) to get your awards for past events!

From the town of Rimbey, head straight west on Highway 53, drive 28km to Range Road 52 and turn South (left).

Once you are on Range Road 52 headed south, you are about 3/4 mile on the right hand side; note: We are NOT Sundance Ranch, but the next place on the right. There will be signs showing where to park:)
