About The Venue

Lovely Skyline Wilderness Park is located in the Napa Valley where we'll ride trails through wooded forest, valleys and hilltops. 

Non-campers park near the arena in the designated area. $6 day use fee

CAMPING RESERVATIONS online at https://book.letsbonfire.com/skylinewildernesspark

Scroll until you find a site that says "HC" or "Horse Camping". If there are no spots left, you will dry camp in "Overflow" Camping (see the amenities tab below) and pay at on-site check-in

Check-in time is 1 pm, Check-out time is 11 am.
$45/per night. RESERVE EARLY to guarantee space availability.

Dry campsites are available for overnight reservations. Designated sites have water hookups. The open overflow area has water spigots. You must bring your own personal horse containment. Hitching posts, water hoses, and horse wash stations are available. Generators are allowed to run until 10 pm. Showers in restrooms.

Event Details

Saturday In-Hand Obstacle Challenge (IH) - the In-Hand event obstacles are completed dismounted. You may be saddled, halters with leads are recommended. All non-riding equines are welcome and encouraged to compete!

Saturday Mounted Obstacle Challenge  - the Mounted event obstacles are completed while riding in saddle. All riding disciplines are welcome as well as bit-less headstalls.

Sunday Obstacle Trail Challenge (TC) - A relaxing 6 mile trail ride with judged obstacles placed in camp and/or on the trail.  All riding disciplines are welcome. 

The Terrain

Arena footing, flat sandy footing around horse area of the park, mostly flat, wide trails with some moderate hills and a few rocky areas along the trail. Hoof protection is recommended for trails.

At your leisure - food truck may be available

Awards

Beautiful ribbons 1st-6th place Novice, Intermediate, and Advanced Per Event!

1st-3rd place Junior (age 13-17)

1st-3rd place Youngin' (age 7-12)

and 1st place Newcomer!

These events qualify for: 

WEEKEND HIGH POINT RIBBONS/AWARDS AFTER FINAL EVENT ON SUNDAY

Additional Fees

Payment for ALL Amenities (CA EMMP fees) reserved at the time of online registration are due ON SITE and are NOT collected at the time of online registration.

Registering online will give you the best (early bird) pricing! There is a $10 increase per entry for onsite registration.

From Sacramento: Merge onto I-80 W, drive approximately 40 mi, use the right 2 lanes to take exit 39B for CA-12 W toward Napa/Sonoma for 5.7 mi, turn right onto CA-12 W/CA-29 N/State Hwy 12 W (signs for Napa/Sonoma) for 1.4 mi, use the right 2 lanes to take the exit toward Downtown Napa/Lake Berryessa for 0.2 mi, merge onto CA-221 N for 2.6 mi, turn right onto Imola Ave

From Santa Rosa: From CA-12 E drive 16.2 mi take Arnold Dr and Napa Rd to CA-12 E/CA-121 N for 10.5 mi, continue on CA-121 N to Napa for 8.3 mi, continue straight onto Imola Ave
