About The Venue

The Washington State Horse Park is conveniently located just off I-90 in Cle Elum. The park offers 112 acres of gently sloping terrain with three outdoor arenas, two cross-country courses, a mountain trail course, 100 covered stalls, RV/tent camping, shower facilities, and 10 miles of trails. A variety of lodging, dining, and recreational amenities are close by. 

Be sure to make your reservations for RV/camping, stalls, and day-use/haul ins through the Horse Park's online system.

Event Details

This is the first weekend of the Trinity Trail Events Trail Boss Challenge tournament.

You can expect great people, beautiful views, and challenging obstacles. Whether this is your first time competing with ETS, or a seasoned rider, this will be a fun weekend for all.

The Terrain

The terrain at the Horse Park is mostly soft dirt and grass, with gravel on roads only. There are some rocks on the Obstacle Course so boots or shoes are recommended.

Awards

Beautiful ribbons 1st-6th place in Novice, Intermediate, and Advanced plus special ribbons for Youth & Youngin' riders for each event.

Amazing weekend Hi-Point Awards for Novice, Intermediate & Advanced Riders as well as Weekend Partnership Awards for Male, Female & Youth Riders. 

Qualified series riders will be competing for Trinity Trail Events Trail Boss Challenge Championship awards. See  Trinity Trail Events Trail Boss Challenge Tournament Series for additional details.

ETS Lifetime Awards FOR BOTH EQUINE AND RIDER;  Sign up 2 weeks in advance to get your qualifying awards.

EQUINE CARROT CLUB - Equine earn points; Your equine will earn a beautiful kilt pin adding copper, bronze, silver, and golden carrot charms as they progress through the levels. Equine Placement Points accumulate no matter who rides the equine. 

STAR RIDER CLUB - RIDERS earn points; You will earn a beautiful kilt pin adding copper, bronze, silver, and golden star charms as you progress through the levels. This kilt pin will come with an Equine Trail Sports iron-on patch to attach it to. Rider Placement Points accumulate no matter which equine is ridden. 

Additional Fees

RV/camping and covered stalls are available for overnight accommodations. Make your reservations directly with the venue at wahorsepark.org.

There will be a haul-in fee of $15 per day if you do not stay overnight.

Additional Opportunities

Blue Trail will be closed Friday-Saturday.  Obstacle Course will be closed Friday-Sunday.
