Tri-Cities Horsemen's Association is a local equestrian organization that manages and maintains the arena at Radke-Martinez Regional Shoreline. The arena is located next to the Bay and offers a cool breeze on the hottest days! Easy access and lots of room for rigs!
Pens will be brought in to accommodate campers.
There is a $10 per day per horse arena use fee to be paid on site. These fees are used to maintain and upgrade the arena grounds.
The railroad tracks run alongside the perimeter of the arena grounds so trains do frequently pass by.
Dogs must be leashed and under control at all times. Dogs are not allowed in the arena.
All pens must be cleaned and manure must be picked up and deposited in manure bin before leaving, thank you!
This two day activity includes FOUR events in the arena and on the grounds.
Saturday and Sunday In Hand events will be in the mornings with a start time of 10:00 am. Saturday and Sunday Mounted Obstacle Courses will be in the afternoons with an approximated start time of 1:00 pm
In Hand (IH) – a dismounted event in an arena/field, halter and lead rope preferred. All equines welcome – any size, breed, and age.
Obstacle Course (OC) – a mounted event in an arena/field. A saddle (treeless included) and headstall with reins are required. All riding disciplines are welcome.
Groomed sand arena footing, outside of arena is dry grass with irregular footing.
You will be responsible for your own meals and beverages.
There are a variety of options in nearby downtown Martinez.
Weekend High Point Tournament - Awards will be presented on Sunday afternoon to combined highest scores for Novice, Intermediate, Advanced, and Junior.
Beautiful ribbons - For each event - 1st-6th place Novice, Intermediate, and Advanced! 1st-3rd place Junior (age 13-17), 1st-3rd place Youngin' (age 7-12), and 1st place Newcomer.
Lifetime Awards (Equine & Rider) - Sign up 2 weeks in advance to get your qualifying awards!
Equine Awards - Your equine will earn a beautiful kilt pin adding copper, bronze, silver, and golden carrot charms as they progress through the levels. Equine points accumulate no matter who rides the equine.
Rider Awards - You will earn a beautiful kilt pin adding copper, bronze, silver, and golden star charms as you progress through the levels. Rider Points accumulate no matter which equine is ridden.
Payment for ALL Amenities reserved at the time of online registration are due ON SITE and are NOT collected at the time of online registration.
Registering online will give you the best (early bird) pricing! There is a $10 increase per entry for onsite registration.

Take Ferry Street across the railroad tracks. Once you cross the tracks turn right, then turn right again and follow DiMaggio Dr along the tracks past the ball fields to the arena at the end of the road.
