Come join us at one of the premier Washington Equestrian Park. Riverside Equestrian State Park offers a wide variety of trails that meander thru the forested areas with wide expansive views of the area and the Spokane River.
Saturday
In Hand (IH) – a dismounted event in an arena/field, halter and lead rope preferred. All equines welcome – any size, breed, and age.
Obstacle Course (OC) – a mounted event in an arena/field. A saddle (treeless included) and headstall with reins are required. All riding disciplines are welcome.
Sunday
Trail Challenge (TC) – a relaxing trail ride with judged obstacles along the trail and possibly in camp. All riding disciplines are welcome.
The In-Hand and Obstacle Courses will use the existing obstacle course, the arena and the area between the campground and the area.
The trail course will meander along the existing trail system including down to the river. The terrain is natural. The footing varies from dirt to pine needle covered natural ground cover. We will be using trails located within the Equestrian area. Most trails are wide and easy. There are some rocks, gravel, and water. The trail is designed to be beginner safe.
Please, you know your equine and your choice is best. Barefoot, Booted or Shod.
