About The Venue

Blue Peak Farm is nestled below the west side of the Oquirrh Mountains in Tooele County, Utah. The 105 acre farm boarders the Pine Canyon Conservation area, providing quiet and scenic trails directly from the property, with views of the Great Salt Lake.

There are a limited amount of stalls, and primitive camping available for overnight stays. Ample Day-Use parking is available.

Shared paddocks are reserved for multiple horse usage. Please be aware of which horses will be boarded together in the paddock BEFORE reserving. There is a MINIMUM of TWO (2), and a MAXIMUM of FOUR (4) horses per paddock. Each paddock boarded horse must be reserved SEPERATELY under the "Shared Paddock" reservation option. Text Melissa @ 209-712-5573 after reserving your horses spot and let her know which horses yours will be boarded with.

Event Details

Saturday

In Hand (IH) – a dismounted event in an arena/field, halter and lead rope preferred. All equines welcome – any size, breed, and age.

Obstacle Course (OC) – a mounted event in an arena/field. A saddle (treeless included) and headstall with reins are required. All riding disciplines are welcome.

Sunday

Obstacle Trail (OT) – a relaxing short trail ride with judged obstacles along the trail and possibly in camp. All riding disciplines are welcome.

The Terrain

Trail Obstacles are on natural terrain. Hard-pack dirt, sand, rocks, and hills are what your horse will be walking on. Please plan accordingly for your horses comfort. We suggest farrier-fitted trail boots for horses with tender feet, if you think your horse may need extra support over hard/rocky surfaces.
