About The Venue

Heron Farm and Event Center is located in Chautauqua County New York offering over 10 miles of beautiful private trails.

 A 4 bedroom house with a hot tub is available to book through Air BnB. Overnight camping is available at the Heron Farm and Events Center. Outdoor corral panel box stalls available for rent. There is a bathhouse on site with clean showers available. Outhouses and Port-o-johns are located throughout the entire property. Cabins, campers, pop ups, yurts, tent sites, and Camper/RV hookups are available to reserve. You can find more information and reserve through HipCamp and Air BnB at the link below. Event Details

SATURDAY Firefox Trail Challenge (TC) – Please note a later start time on this event! Join us for a Firefox Fun 5 mile trail ride with judged obstacles scattered along the trail. All riding disciplines are welcome. A Firefox is a celestial fox whose tail sparks and flickers with fire. It is said the firefox running through the forest of stars creates the shimmering Aurora Borealis (Northern Lights).  We are camping! Join us for a bonfire, star gazing and storytelling with Domenic Rocco Sat night. In hand Obstacle course Sunday morning and open trails Sunday to ride as you wish. 

SUNDAY IN HAND FIREFOX OBSTACLE COURSE (IH)
In Hand courses in a pasture trail setting about 1 mile in length with 8 obstacles where the handler works with the equine through obstacles. Multiple horses per handler are allowed. 

The Terrain

Open fields, hard packed dirt, gravel. 

Meals

Sloppy Joe and Hotdogs provided Saturday evening, no meals are planned for Sunday.

Awards

Beautiful ribbons - 1st-6th place Novice, Intermediate, and Advanced! 1st-3rd place Junior (age 13-17), 1st-3rd place Youngin' (age 7-12), and 1st place Newcomer.

Lifetime Awards (Equine & Rider) - Sign up 2 weeks in advance to get your qualifying awards!

Equine Awards - Your equine will earn a beautiful kilt pin adding copper, bronze, silver, and golden carrot charms as they progress through the levels. Equine points accumulate no matter who rides the equine. 

Rider Awards - You will earn a beautiful kilt pin adding copper, bronze, silver, and golden star charms as you progress through the levels. Rider Points accumulate no matter which equine is ridden. 

Additional Fees

Payment for ALL Amenities reserved at the time of online registration are due ON SITE and are NOT collected at the time of online registration.

Registering online will give you the best (early bird) pricing! There is a $10 increase per entry for onsite registration.
