JUDGE CERTIFICATION AND AWARD PROGRAM

ETS provides Judge training with the objective to provide a fair standard of scoring,
both locally, and on a national level.

CERTIFICATION AND AWARDS ARE TRACKED IN YOUR ACCOUNT (MY JUDGES PAGE).

CERTIFICATION PROCESS

2	COMPLETE THE KNOWLEDGE CHECK
3	ATTEND A JUDGING CLINIC - LIVE OR WEBINAR Check the events page for available clinics. Online registration for the clinic is mandatory and is free.
4	COMPLETE THE PRACTICAL JUDGING EXERCISE (Google Chrome works best) HINT: Print the Decision Tree before starting the Practical Judging Exercise to use as a scoring reference. This step is easiest once you've attended a Judging clinic/webinar.
5	JUDGE 2 ETS EVENTS Adhere to the ETS JUDGE PLEDGE. The host will assign you in the system to your obstacle(s) giving you credit for having judged each obstacle & event.
NOTE: Once the above steps are completed, you will receive an automated email notifying you of your certification.

Maximum 2 obstacles per event are calculated into this number. *All awards are shipped to ETS events. The judge can indicate which event to ship their award to in their My Judges page.

CREDIT AWARD PROGRAM
Starting Jan 1, 2023 judges will receive $5 credit in their account for every 50 performances judged. Credit can be applied towards membership, entry fees, or ETS apparel via our Shop page.
