About The Venue

Silver Ridge Ranch has 45 RV Sites with electricity and water for $25.00 per night and 34 Tent Sites for $20.00 per night. Several sites have private corrals for your horses for $5.00 per night.

The Lodge has 7 comfortable guest rooms that sleep up to 27 people in beds.  The great room has a big screen TV & DVD player for your enjoyment.  You can relax and enjoy the scenery next to the big river rock fireplace.

Event Details

This is the first event of the Battle for the Buckles Challenge. The Battle for the Buckle Challenge will have eight trail challenge events this summer. June and September will be held at Silver Ridge Ranch. July and August will be held at the Schmidt Farm in Eatonville. 

Enjoy 6 miles of beautiful trails through the Cascade Mountain foothills to the eastern shore of Lake Easton! The Trail Challenge will include six natural obstacles situated along the ride. Riders will go out in groups but will be judged individually at each obstacle. After everyone has completed their ride, we will have Judges' Shout Outs and then Awards for the day. 

The Terrain

The ride will be primarily through the national forest with some connecting time on logging roads.  

The terrain is varied with beautiful views of the Cascades and Lake Katchees.  In June the wildflowers should be beautiful.

There is very little difficult terrain to navigate.

Awards

We will present awards to the top 6 riders in each division at each event. For the series, the top rider overall in Novice, Intermediate, and Advance will be awarded a championship buckle at the last event in September.
