Event Details

This is the  #3 and #4 event of the Battle for the Buckles Challenge. The Battle for the Buckles Challenge will have eight trail challenge events this summer. June and September will be held at Silver Ridge Ranch in Easton. July and August will be held at the Schmidt Farm in Eatonville.
Easton June 30- July 1, Eatonville July 14-15, Eatonville August 18-19 and Finals for the Battle of the Buckles Challenge in Easton September 15-16.

Enjoy 8 obstacles that stretch across 40 acres at your leisure with a group of riders.
Each individual will be allowed to choose which level they would like to be judged on at EACH obstacle.  After everyone has completed their ride, we will have Judges' Shout Outs and then Awards for the day.

Your best 5 out of 8 challenges will be used to calculate your tournament scores based on the average weighted obstacle score from each challenge.
Multiple horses allowed at the challenge -obstacle course, only if each horse places in a different bracket.  Please discuss with Kimberly Clinton Schmidt or Vickie Sheehan before registering multiple horses.

The Terrain

The ride will be primarily through the tree-lined open fiends across 40 acres.  Easy riding on grass.

Meals

Join us for an afternoon Chili Potluck lunch to end your day!  I'll provide the chili.

Awards

We will present ribbons and awards to the top 6 riders in each division; Novice, Intermediate, and Advance at each event. For the series, the top rider overall in Novice, Intermediate, and Advance will be awarded a championship buckle at the last event in September in Easton, at Silver Ridge Ranch.
