Camp Mohaven is a premier camp and retreat center for Christians in Ohio. Owned and operated by the Ohio Conference of Seventh-day Adventists, Mohaven occupies over 700 acres of lush forest in the Mohican River valley, bordering 2 ¼ miles of the scenic Mohican River. It’s a popular site for outdoor sports, horseback riding, and just getting out in nature.
Camp Mohaven is just down the road from The Bridge of Dreams, the second longest covered bridge in the state of Ohio.
Come experience a relaxing weekend of fun and enjoy our camping area. Hookups and primitive camping are available along with a shower house. It is allowed to bring your own containment for horses in the 110 hookups and primitive camping.
***Owner horse Pens or High ties are not allowed in 50 amp hookups due to the sewer system.
We are excited to announce that on Saturday, April 27th we will host an Obstacle Course and Trail Course.
Sunday, April 28th we will hold another Trail Course.
Our trails for the course include rocky terrain, rolling hills, and grassy fields. Shoes or boots are recommended for soft-footed horses.
Kokosing Valley Mounted Search and Rescue will host a concession stand for the weekend.
Pre-order your breakfasts and lunches to assure selection. Snacks and beverages will be available throughout the weekend.
Beautiful ribbons 1st-6th place Novice, Intermediate, and Advanced! 1st-3rd place Junior (age 13-17), 1st-3rd place Youngin' (age 7-12), and 1st place Newcomer!
After the competitions, we will hold guided trail rides throughout the beautiful hills of Camp Mohaven. There are over 30 miles of trails for you to enjoy at no additional cost. These trails range from beginner to advanced riders. There is even a trail with a river crossing.

From Danville take Country/US-62 E. Continue to follow Country/US-62 E.
Then 2.98 miles
Turn left onto Pritchard Rd.
***If you reach Brinkhaven Rd you've gone about 0.2 miles too far***
Then 1.44 miles turn right onto Turkey Ridge Rd.
***If you reach Nashville Rd you've gone about 0.8 miles too far***
