About The Venue

The Fort Dalles Riders, a non-profit organization located in the beautiful Columbia River Gorge, is dedicated to the promotion of safe horsemanship for all ages, riding disciplines, and skill levels. We invite you to browse our website to learn more about our equestrian events and activities and to join us at our facility in The Dalles, Oregon, that includes a clubhouse, a lighted outdoor riding arena, and a complete trail course.

We welcome horse lovers of all ages and riding disciplines and invite you to become members of our club and participate in the many activities that the Riders club sponsors and supports. These activities include, but are by no means limited to: riding lessons (dressage, western, jumping, English), horse shows, clinics and training, playdays, barrel racing, gaming, square dancing, parades, and of course, trail riding.

WE STRIVE TO:

  • Promote the welfare of horses by providing education resources for their proper care and training.
  • Promote healthy family values by providing a drug-free and alcohol-free environment.
  • Promote for all ages and skill levels, a continued involvement with horses and related activities by providing a year-round facility.
