About The Venue

Farragut State Park has an Equestrian Camping area with 6 dry campsites that have corrals, be prepared to bring portable corrals and a large overflow area for parking and camping with portable corrals.  There is an arena that will be available after the in-hand competition, and water is available at the Day Use Area. 

There is a beautiful, well-maintained multi-use trail system that exits out of the Equine Area. 

After the event, there is public beach access and pedestrian hiking trails at Lake Pend Oreille 5 minutes away! 

Due to limited corral availability bringing portable corrals is recommended.  Contact event host to reserve spots!  All payments for camp spots will be paid at Visitor Center during business hours, if arriving after hours competitors must go at the first opportunity to pay for camping.  No fees will be collected at the event for camping.  All dogs MUST be on a leash at all times!

Event Details

Offering an In-Hand Saturday morning followed by an Obstacle Challenge Saturday afternoon, and a Trail Challenge on Sunday. 

This is the second weekend of a 2 weekend Series.

To be eligible for the Hi-Point awards you must participate in at least 4 of the 6 events over the 2 weekend Series.  Fun and challenging obstacles for all!  

The Terrain

Mostly dirt trails, some short sections of the trail may have rocks.  Know your horse and their needs.

Meals

Meals will be on own, except for the Saturday night Pot Luck!  Bring your favorite dish to share!

Awards

Beautiful ribbons 1st-6th place Novice, Intermediate, and Advanced! 1st-3rd place Junior (age 13-17), 1st-3rd place Youngin' (age 7-12), and 1st place Newcomer!!

 A Hi-Point prize for the weekend will be given using Raw Scores.  

The weekend scores go towards Hi-Point Bracket Series in Novice, Intermediate & Advanced.  Must compete in 4 of the 6 events to be eligible for the series Hi-Point.

Additional Fees

Payment for ALL Amenities reserved at the time of online registration are due ON SITE and are NOT collected at the time of online registration. 

ALL CAMPING FEES AND NECESSARY VEHICLE PASSES MUST BE PURCHASED AT VISITOR CENTER BEFORE ENTERING PARK TO CAMP!
