Parrie Haynes Ranch Equestrian Center is settled along the Lampasas River on about 1600 acres of Hill Country terrain. West Fort Hood borders our northern side. The acreage is teeming with natural wildlife and native plants with trails that wind through rolling native prairies, pastures, cedar/oak trees, and crystal clear streams. The Priddy Cabin was built here in 1859. Other homes were scattered across the ranch and have only foundations remaining. Please be careful and respect our heritage. Visit the Parrie Haynes Ranch Museum in the Clubhouse (not big but a labor of love for our history).
Trails are well marked with PVC posts, spray painted markers, and colored engineering tape. Intersections are also marked with color codes to help you navigate the ranch. Maps are available in the office.
We will have 5 miles of trail challenges for your enjoyment on Saturday and 3 Miles on Sunday.
The footing is a combination of sand, caleche, and rock.
(Not Provided) But, if you are coming with a big group Parrie Haynes does offer a Clubhouse for rent equipped with a kitchen, dining room, and meeting room.
Beautiful ribbons 1st-6th place Novice, Intermediate, and Advanced! 1st-3rd place Junior (age 13-17), 1st-3rd place Youngin' (age 7-12), and 1st place Newcomer! And fun prizes.

Equine Bodywork clinic for beginners - 2:00pm - 6:00pm
Acupressure is a safe and effective way to participate in your horses health, internally and externally. It works off their pressure points (same as we have) and can influence the flow of blood, joint fluids, immune system boosting, etc.
This is a noninvasive, yet very powerful way to get and keep your horse healthy. Acupressure derives from traditional Chinese Medicine, and in our seminar we will look at a number of solutions for common issues. Our equines are our friends, athletes, therapists, and babysitters, so lets get them to their best " happy and healthy"!
