About The Venue

Located in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains of Southwest Virginia, Green Hill Park Equestrian Center is a 30 acre public horse park. The park is self supporting with donations from various contributors and several local horse clubs who donate partial profits from shows held at the park. We are fortunate to have three arenas, 20 stalls, and water provided at the facility. A valid Negative Coggins is required for participation.

Event Details

On Saturday, May 25, you will participate in an ETS Obstacle Trail ride, a relaxing short trail ride with judged obstacles along the trail and in the arenas. All riding disciplines are welcome.

The Terrain

Arena footing and grassy hills, rocks in creek crossings.

Meals

Food will be provided by a local horse club, Blue Ridge Equine Society. They are an organization that uses all fundraiser funds for the good of animals. For example, they might buy feed for an animal rescue. This is your menu-  For sale... Order ahead... $7.50 Hot dogs x2, chips, drink, Or grilled cheese chips drink $8.50 Brat w/ peppers & onion Chips drink Save a dollar if you order ahead.

Awards

Beautiful ribbons 1st-6th place Novice, Intermediate, and Advanced! 1st-3rd place Junior (age 13-17), 1st-3rd place Youngin' (age 7-12), and 1st place Newcomer.

Lifetime Awards (Equine & Rider) - Sign up 2 weeks in advance to get your qualifying awards!

Equine Carrot Club - Your equine will earn a beautiful kilt pin adding copper, bronze, silver, and golden carrot charms as they progress through the levels. Equine points accumulate no matter who rides the equine. 

Star Rider Club - You will earn a beautiful kilt pin adding copper, bronze, silver, and golden star charms as you progress through the levels. This kilt pin will come with an Equine Trail Sports iron-on patch to attach it to. Rider Points accumulate no matter which equine is ridden. 

Additional Fees

Payment for ALL Amenities reserved at the time of online registration are due ON SITE and are NOT collected at the time of online registration.
