About The Venue

Welcome To Twin J Ranch!

We are a family owned and operated ranch nestled in Bedford, Virginia , overlooking the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. 
Here at Twin J Ranch we like to bring community, family, all things livestock, agriculture, happiness, and more together! 

We are a fully functioning farm with a variety of livestock, hay production, farm fresh eggs, farmers garden, and more. When not found farming you can find us at your local festival, birthday party, nursing home, wedding, or right here at our own venue bringing smiles to people of all ages across Central Virginia with our beloved petting zoo. Our petting zoo involves our own stock where we provide an opportunity for hands on experiences & interactions with animals. Our own animals bring us so much joy and we get very excited to see the same joy in others that they bring. 

The Venue...
Here at the ranch we have hosted events ranging from weddings, birthday parties, corporate gatherings, family reunions, banquets, and much more! Our 4000 sq ft venue includes an indoor space as well as an outdoor lounge area with fire pits and market lights, creating a very nice atmosphere comfortable for all. 
Need a place to stay?
Our onsite ranch Air BnB includes 2 Bedrooms with Queen Beds, 1 Bathroom, a large living room, full kitchen, and dining room... all overlooking the Twin J Ranch barn & property. 

We love sharing our property and meeting new friends! We cant wait to meet you! 

Event Details

Friday Evening will be opened for early check in. Once you are checked in, our arena will be open to those wanting to use. Open Arena from 4-6:30pm - (Ride At Your Own Risk). 

Saturday Trail Challenge (TC) – a relaxing trail ride with judged obstacles along the trail and possibly in camp. All riding disciplines are welcome.

Blue Ridge Buckle Series Buckles to be awarded after event.

The Terrain

Twin J Ranch Property consists of....
-Mostly grassy areas.. Fields, Pastures, Slight Rolling Hills
-Wooded/Shade trail like areas
-1 Creek Crossing with some rock bottom
-Some Gravel Roads but has grass paths along side
-Arena Footing = Blue Stone
-There are quite a few inclines but mild

Bring Barefoot Betty or Shoed Up Sally! Shoes/Boots Optional.

Saturday Breakfast - Complimentary Continental Breakfast for judges, riders, and volunteers to enjoy. 

Saturday Lunch - Box Lunches Sandwich, Side, Chips, Pickle, Cookie, Drink (Pre-Ordered Through Twin J Ranch) 
***Saturday's Lunches will be ready to go and labeled with your order/name at our Lunch Pick Up Window day of event. Lunches will be made fresh as you ride and ready for pick up once you are done! Ensuring for Fresh yummy food!***

Awards

Beautiful ribbons 1st-6th place Novice, Intermediate, and Advanced! 1st-3rd place Junior (age 13-17), 1st-3rd place Youngin' (age 7-12), and 1st place Newcomer.

Lifetime Awards (Equine & Rider) - Sign up 2 weeks in advance to get your qualifying awards!

Equine Carrot Club - Your equine will earn a beautiful kilt pin adding copper, bronze, silver, and golden carrot charms as they progress through the levels. Equine points accumulate no matter who rides the equine. 

Star Rider Club - You will earn a beautiful kilt pin adding copper, bronze, silver, and golden star charms as you progress through the levels. This kilt pin will come with an Equine Trail Sports iron-on patch to attach it to. Rider Points accumulate no matter which equine is ridden.

Additional Fees

Payment for ALL Amenities reserved at the time of online registration are due ON SITE and are NOT collected at the time of online registration.
