About The Venue

Dover Stables is a family friendly equine facility located off of Hwy 20 in Waterford, WI.

• Several large paddocks with shelters and automatic waterers
• 2.5 acre 23-foot deep stocked pond with sand beach

Proof of Negative Coggins required with a copy to leave at the office.

Stalls are available each day. If you want a stall for the weekend, please register for both Saturday and Sunday. Stalls must be reserved online and are paid directly to Dover Stables upon check-in at the event. 

If you have a stall for Saturday or the weekend you can haul in after 6pm on Friday night or Saturday morning.

If you have a stall for Sunday you can haul in after 6pm on Saturday night or Sunday morning.

Event Details

Saturday morning we are offering an In-Hand Obstacle Challenge. All obstacles will be completed unmounted, on the end of a halter and lead rope which will be held in the indoor arena. Training sticks, whips, crops are allowed to complete the course and must be used with good horsemanship.

Saturday afternoon we are offering a Mounted Obstacle Challenge which will be held in the outdoor arena, field & track area.

Sunday morning we are offering an Obstacle Trail Challenge which will take riders for a 3 mile ride around the property, the neighboring farmer's field and the round pen area.

The Terrain

There will be mild terrain in the area of competition, including: grass, sand, dirt and limestone.

Meals

Meals can be pre-ordered through this website and paid for the day of competition. Menu items TBD.

Awards

Beautiful ribbons 1st-6th place Novice, Intermediate, and Advanced! 1st-3rd place Junior (age 13-17), 1st-3rd place Youngin' (age 7-12), and 1st place Newcomer!

We are pleased to offer the Dover Stables 2019 ETS Series. A total of 4 weekends, in which there will be 3 events each weekend, for a total of 12 events.

We will have 3 Tournaments participating in these events can qualify you for: 

Dover Stables Overall - High Point Champion and Reserve awards

Dover Stables Bracket - High Point 1st-3rd awards

Dover Stables In Hand - Overall High Point Champion awards

To qualify for the overall and bracket awards series, you need to attend at least 9 of the 12 events. If you attend all 12 events, we will take the 9 highest scores to count toward the awards.  

To qualify for the In hand overall bracket series you will need to attend 3 out of the 4 events.  If you attend all 4 events we will take the 3 highest scores to count toward the awards. 

Additional Fees

There is a $1 Tournament Fee added to each registration, that is put towards buying awards.
