About The Venue

Capitol State Forest is a beautiful recreation area of 110,000 acres of forest land.  It is located just off I-5 outside the town of Littlerock, approximately 5 miles south of Olympia WA.  The forest offer over 50 miles of horse trails, some of which are shared by hikers and mountain bike enthusiasts.  The forest is dense and has areas of clear cuts with lots of wildflowers, and several creeks and waterfalls visible from the trails.  The trails are dirt single tracks combined with some logging roads as this is a working forest area.

Please note this is a gun club so there will be periodic gunfire during the daytime. This should not impact our event much as we will be out on the trails during the day, and we are setting up camp at the far end of the property closest to the trails.

Riders will have to bring their own corrals, tie to their trailers or highline (there are trees available). Dry camping is $15 a day per rig/trailer. In addition,  there is a $5 fee per horse/per day for camping.  There is lots of open space to spread out so there are no issues with big trailers. There is water available for horses as well as shade trees. There will be porta potties nearby and we also have access to restrooms and showers in the clubhouse. The clubhouse is about 100 yards away near the RV camping.

There will be a haul in fee of $10 per vehicle per day for those not camping overnight.

The sportsman's club has RV spots, but they are close to the pistol range and 100 yards away from the event headquarters. If you are interested in an RV spot, go to this link to make reservations: https://shootevergreen.com/camping-reservations
