Murieta Equestrian Center is California's Premiere Equestrian & Facility.
We will be located in Premier Equine Arena + warm-up arena for our weekend's events. Click this link for a facility map
Stalls are available from Thursday - Sunday for a flat rate of $80 or $50 per day. Stall reservations are made with your event registration here and payable at onsite check-in.
Day use parking available for $25/day - equines may be tied to trailers.
Dry camping is available from Thursday - Sunday for $20/night. Stalls must be reserved, no horse containment allowed at camping sites. Dry camping reservations are made with your event registration here and payable at onsite check-in.
RV camping with hookups are available and must be reserved through this link: RV Camping Stalls must be reserved, no horse containment allowed at camping sites.
This two-day challenge will consist of FOUR events in Arena (no trail).
Saturday In-Hand Obstacle Challenge - the In-Hand event obstacles are completed dismounted. You may be saddled, halters with leads are recommended. All non-riding equines are welcome and encouraged to compete!
Saturday & Sunday Mounted Obstacle Challenges - the Mounted event obstacles are completed while riding in saddle. All riding disciplines are welcome as well as bit-less headstalls.
Sunday Mounted Jackpot Obstacle Challenge - timed race, 50% payout of entry fees. Basic judging criteria, time added for missed criteria. (this does not count for ETS Placement points, Ranking points, or tournaments)
Adult Division (18+ yrs):
1-10 entries 1 placement (100%)
11-20 entries 1st place (60%) 2nd place (40%)
21-30 entries 1st place (50%) 2nd place (30%) 3rd place (20%)
31+ entries 1st place (40%) 2nd place (30%) 3rd place (20%) 4th place (10%)
Youth Division (7 - 17 yrs):
1-5 entries 1 placement (100%)
6-10 entries 1st place (60%) 2nd place (40%)
11-15 entries 1st place (50%) 2nd place (30%) 3rd place (20%)
16+ entries 1st place (40%) 2nd place (30%) 3rd place (20%) 4th place (10%)

From Sacramento:
From I-5 S/CA-99 S/CA-16 E, take Exit 518 to merge onto US-50 E. In 6.25 miles take Exit 9 onto Power Inn Rd towards CA-16 E/Howe Ave and keep left. Turn right onto Howe Ave/CA-16. Turn left onto Folsom Blvd/CA-16 then make a slight right onto Jackson Rd/CA-16. In 17 miles, turn right onto Murieta Drive at the stoplight. Take your first right onto Lone Pine Drive.
From Folsom:
From Hwy 50, take Exit 27 for Scott Rd/ E Bidwell St and head south on Scott Rd. At the 3 way stop, turn right onto White Rock Rd. In 1.5 miles, turn left onto Scott Rd (if you reach Prairie City Rd you have gone to far). Stay on Scott Rd for 7.9 miles then make a sharp left onto Latrobe Rd. Take the first right onto Stone House Rd until you reach Jackson Rd/Hwy 16. Turn left onto Jackson Rd and take the 1stright at the stoplight on Murieta Drive. Take your first right onto Lone Pine Drive.
From Stockton:
Head north on CA-99 towards Sacramento for 27 miles. Take Exit 281 for Dillard Rd and turn right on Dillard Rd. In 14 miles, turn right onto Jackson Rd/Hwy 16. At the stoplight, turn right onto Murieta Drive. Take your first right onto Lone Pine Drive.
From Plymouth:
Go southwest on CA- 49 towards Empire St and continue on CA- 49. In 2 miles, stay straight onto CA-16 for 13.65 miles. At the stoplight, turn left onto Murieta Dr. Take your first right onto Lone Pine Drive.
