About The Venue

The SKM Horserider's Campground is centrally located in the forest, with the horse trails connecting within the campground. Campers with horses can enjoy 36 back-in sites, 20 pull-through sites, one group site accommodating up to 20 people, a picnic shelter, horse shower, manure deposit stations, drinking water a shower building and vault toilets.

Day parking is first come first serve. SPACE IS LIMITED, plan to arrive early if you are just coming for the day. We will assist riders to make sure parking is done in an orderly fashion to allow for maximum space. Camping reservations for outdoor campsites can be made ONLINE or by calling 888-947-2757 and are HIGHLY RECCOMENDED. There is limited availability, so make sure you reserve ahead of time! Day parking is available for your truck and trailer with a WI State Park Vehicle Admission Sticker (see "Event Details" below for information about obtaining one).

  YOUR ENTRY FEE IS DOING GOOD!  

I am happy to announce that half of all entry fees of this event will be going to SKMHTA (Southern Kettle Moraine Horse Trail Association)

The other half? Gets directly put back into hosting ETS events right here in Wisconsin for you to enjoy! Purchasing prizes & awards, building obstacles, event location fees, and materials for a fun, family-friendly event!

  IMPORTANT - PLEASE READ  

ALL equestrians 16 years and older MUST purchase and carry a STATE TRAIL PASS in order to ride the trails at this event. Buy your trail pass when you get to the park or in advance. Both daily & annual passes are available.

A VEHICLE ADMISSION STICKER is REQUIRED on ALL motor vehicles stopping in a state park, forest, recreation area and trail parking areas. Buy your sticker when you get to the park or in advance. Both daily & annual stickers are available.

All rules and regulations set by SKM Horserider's Campground, the DNR and the WI State Park System are expected to be respected and obeyed by all participants and spectators. We hope to be welcomed back in the future! Your cooperation is greatly appreciated!

Event Details

We will have a Trail Obstacle Challenge with obstacles being placed on the trail system on Saturday and Sunday.

The Terrain

Mostly sandy and/or grassy trails. Minimal rocky terrain. The trails we will be riding are inside of the forest and are well groomed.

Trails used for the event will be clearly marked. These are shared use trails and some are open to mountain bikers. There may be other riders not participating in the event, who are allowed to be on the trails during the competition per the DNR.

Meals

We will not have meals or beverages for purchase at the event. Please come prepared with what you will need for the day!

Beautiful ribbons 1st-6th place Novice, Intermediate, and Advanced! 1st-3rd place Junior (age 13-17), 1st-3rd place Youngin' (age 7-12), and 1st place Newcomer! Awesome equine related prizes!
