About The Venue

Harlinsdale Farm has been called the most significant historic farm associated with the modern Tennessee Walking Horse industry. In 1933, W.W. Harlin established the farm on the northern outskirts of great renown in the fledging Tennessee Walking Horse Industry. As famous as the farm itself is its prize stallion Midnight Sun. This famous horse became the first repeat World Grand Champion. The success of Midnight Sun in the ring and as a sire has never been matched by any other Tennessee Walking Horse. Even today, most champion Walking Horses trace their lineage to Midnight Sun.

Event Details

Fall Horse Obstacle Course

• Saturday, October 22, 2022 at 8:00 am
• Harlinsdale Farm, 239 Franklin Road Franklin, TN 37064
• All youth required to wear a ASTM/SEI helmet.
• Proof of Coggins required

Enjoy 3 miles of open and wooded trails including 8 obstacles to complete. Qualified, trained judges. Proceeds support Williamson County 4-H Horse Project. 

The Terrain

3 miles of rolling hills includes a mixture of open fields and wooded trail, clearly marked for riders. 

Meals

Boxed lunches available upon registration. Boxed lunches include a sandwich of choice, salad (potato or pasta), chips, cookie and a drink. 

Awards

Beautiful ribbons 1st-6th place Novice, Intermediate, and Advanced! 1st-3rd place Junior (age 13-17), 1st-3rd place Youngin' (age 7-12), and 1st place Newcomer!
