7IL Ranch is a 1150-acre working cattle ranch founded in 1856. With over 30 miles of permanently marked barefoot friendly trails through gently rolling fields, woods, and shallow creeks the ranch is a favorite for trail and endurance riders. The ranch also boasts its newest addition; an impressive obstacle course with over 26 challenging obstacles.
The ranch is open all year round for camping and riding.
The ranch has a large lighted outdoor arena, round pens, climate controlled restrooms with showers, and a large enclosed pavilion for meetings and meals.
RV Hookups with water and electricity and horse pens are available and can be reserved online at https://7ilranch.com/reservations
Primitive camping (generator and non-generator) and portable horse pens are OK!
Dogs are allowed and MUST BE ON A LEASH AT ALL TIMES. Dogs are not allowed on the course or during meals in the pavilion,

Saturday and Sunday enjoy 6 mile challenging and fun trail obstacles to test you and your equine partner's horsemanship skills. We select natural obstacles, things you may actually encounter on the trail.
Barefoot friendly gently rolling trails wind through pastures and woods with shallow creek crossings.
Meals available for purchase at registration, but we request that you sign up on line so we can plan accordingly, however usually have a few extras.

Beautiful ribbons 1st-6th place Novice, Intermediate, and Advanced! 1st-3rd place Junior (age 13-17), 1st-3rd place Youngin' (age 7-12), and 1st place Newcomer!
ETS Lifetime Awards FOR BOTH EQUINE AND RIDER
EQUINE CARROT CLUB - Equine earn points; Your equine will earn a beautiful kilt pin adding copper, bronze, silver, and golden carrot charms as they progress through the levels. Equine Placement Points accumulate no matter who rides the equine.
STAR RIDER CLUB - RIDERS earn points; You will earn a beautiful kilt pin adding copper, bronze, silver, and golden star charms as you progress through the levels. This kilt pin will come with an Equine Trail Sports iron-on patch to attach it to. Rider Placement Points accumulate no matter which equine is ridden.

Primitive camping (generator and non-generator) is available and portable pens are also allowed. There will be a 5.00 per trailer due at check in.
However, everyone will have to pay the ranch fee of $20 per day or $30 per weekend per horse when you arrive at the ranch. This is not payed online with your registration.
