About The Venue

Glenndale Grace Farm is a privately-owned 40-acre facility nestled in the "Hills of Oklahoma".  The Farm is located three miles east of Fort Gibson which offers several wonderful restaurants, a Dollar General, diesel and gas stations, boutiques, coffee shop, and a nice-sized grocery store (Harps).  Muskogee is located nine miles west of the Farm and has a plethora of restaurants, stores, hotels, and museums.  Cherokee Wildlife Management Area, Zeb Entrance, is located 15 minutes east of the Farm and offers miles and miles of trails.  Everyone on the WMA must be in possession of a current OK hunting/fishing license issued by the OK Department of Wildlife Conservation Department.

Dry camping is in a hay field.  Horses may be tied to trailers.  Please spread manure and hay.  The stalls are in the barn.  Please muck your horse's stall and dump in designated location.  The square pen is located near the barn.  Please spread the manure and hay outside the pen.

Current negative Coggins papers dated with 12 months must be presented for all equines in camp.  Additionally, the State of OK requires health papers dated within 30 days of the ride for all out-of-state equines.

Event Details

Friday evening will be a fun social time with food and horse videos!  Please RSVP to Susan at (918) 685-0072.  You'll also get to check in!

Saturday morning, we will start with the Trail Challenge (TC), a relaxing five-mile trail ride with judged obstacles along the trail and in camp. All riding disciplines are welcome.  We'll break for lunch then transition to the Obstacle Course (OC), a mounted event in the obstacle arena. A saddle (treeless included) and headstall with reins are required.  All riding disciplines are welcome.   Awards and potluck will follow an hour after the last rider is off course.  We will honk the horn and meet you around the dinner table.  We will hustle getting points tallied and results printed so riders can head home after our weekend of fun!

The Terrain

The terrain is all grass, some rock, and relatively flat.  There are some trails through woods.  The trails are barefoot friendly...but riders are required to wear appropriate riding foot ware just the same.

Meals

The coffee pot is always on.   All meals are on your own.  Restaurants are as close as three miles away.

Saturday afternoon, we will gather around the dinner table and enjoy a potluck feast!  Bring your own plates, flatware, and beverages.
