We are looking forward to bringing you a great Trail Challenge with some fun obstacles.  Let's ride!!

Event Details

Come ride a 10 mile trail challenge in beautiful Logan Hubble Memorial Park. We will have no less than six obstacles set up on the trail to challenge you and your equine partner.  Groups of five riders (competitors and recreational riders) will head out every 10 minutes.  Sign up as a recreational rider if you are not ready to compete, just want to see what an event looks like, have a green equine, or just want to ride along.  Recreational riders are not allowed to school on the obstacles but will have a great time just the same.  The trails will allow you plenty of room for social distancing.

Logan Hubble Memorial Park is a public facility.  You may encounter other riders out for a trail ride during the ETS event.  Please use proper trail etiquette.  Always identify your equine with red (kickers) or yellow (stallions) ribbons tied in the tail and mane. Obstacles will be placed in areas that are open, safe, and passable for all riders.

The Logan Hubble Trail Challenge is included in the 2020 Bluegrass Tournament.  See below for details.

The Terrain

Logan Hubble Memorial Park is comprised of mainly wooded trails.  You will experience a variety of elements at this park such as water crossings, hills, and clearings.  You may encounter some areas of rock and paved roadways that you will cross over.  Use trail boots or shoes at your discretion.  Helmets are advised but not required for riders 18 and older.  All minors age 7 to 17 must wear a helmet when participating in any ETS event.

FUN VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

Maybe you have been thinking about hosting an ETS event of your own but would like a little more exposure of what happens behind the scenes.  Why not volunteer?  Volunteers can greet new arrivals, help with registration, become a scorekeeper, train as a judge, help set up and tear down an obstacle course, and more.  This is a great way to participate and your help will always be greatly appreciated.  Please contact Chris Pepplitsch at cpepplitsch@yahoo.com or via messenger  https://www.facebook.com/cpepplitsch
